Quad Speed Rope v2
Our all new Quad Speed Rope v2 features a much updated set of improvements for Jump Rope enthusiasts.
The most important part of the skipping rope would be the ball bearings. With our sourcing experience, we brought in ball bearing systems from China and Taiwan. What we found is that the Taiwanese ball bearings tend to be more consistent over time. And it is no wonder! It's the same type of ball bearings using in commercial bicycles parts, which Taiwan is the world's major manufacturer. Hence, we decided to export the Taiwan ball bearings to our China factory to be assembled there.
We added rotational eyelets which gives more freedom for the rope to rotate radially during the skipping motion. A mistake in one side of the wrist flick could cause a jerk in the movement of skipping rope, breaking momentum and your double unders streak. With the rotational eyelets, it reduces the impact of the jerk and allows the rope to spin normally.
The final piece of the puzzle is the handling. With long reps or sets, the palms will get sweaty, or the sweat from the arms may go the palms, causing bad grip. Created similarly to knurled handles found in olympic bars, the new handles provide much better grip compared to the old quad speed rope.
